Pictured: breakfast quinoa prepared with apple and topped with yogurt, blueberries, and brown sugar.
Yield: 4 servings.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 c oatmeal
- 1/2 c quinoa
- 1 t cinnamon
- 1/4 t salt
- 2 T ground flax seed, opt
- 1 apple, peeled and chopped, opt
- raisins to taste, opt
- 2 c water
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in a large microwaveable bowl. Microwave 10-12 min, stirring once or twice.
- Top with favorite toppings.
